At Salt, we helped Gourmet Food make the shift from B2B to reaching directly into the kitchens of everyday meat lovers. We assisted them with the naming, and I created the logo and graphic identity. I made the shootplcan, didi the styling and secured the result of both stills and moving visuals.
The name originates from the historic Slaughterhouse District, and the client wanted a concept that would stand out on the shelf. That the knife became such an important symbol in the design was only natural – Gourmet Food has always said, ‘we’re proud of everything we put the knife to!’
The packaging does its job: it truly stands out on the shelf, and the sales team keeps receiving positive feedback from retailers. The bold and colorful identity is easy for the client’s in-house marketing team to work with, and the brand continues to grow.
